Project Highlights
The project involved an extensive transformation of the existing production infrastructure at BAIC New Energy's Miyun Base, focusing on modernizing and enhancing the overall capabilities of the painting lines.
Converted the original half-automated painting line into a fully automated interior and exterior painting line, significantly improving efficiency, consistency, and throughput.
Restored UBS and UBC stations, added new LASD robot workstations, and introduced and debugged new car models, ensuring smooth integration of the new models into the production process.
Installed a set of ion wind equipment to enhance production efficiency by reducing contamination and improving the overall quality of the painted surfaces.
Project challenges included compliance with stringent environmental standards, maintaining production capacity during upgrades, and integrating new robotic technologies while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The project also required careful coordination to meet regulatory requirements and optimize production workflows.
